Sebastian Kolowa University College Sign Language Club (SSILAC)
is a
professional knowledge giving club. A
person devoting enough time and energy to participate in SSILAC activities can
be able to know Tanzanian Sign Language and become a Sign Language Interpreter.
It was introduced in 2011 with 100 members, currently there are above 200
members.
One of our objectives:
To create socialization environment
for students who are hearing impaired at SEKUCo.
OUR main activity is:
“To teach Sign Language to the members
and the community at large”.
OUR motto:
“Use Sign Language for Inclusive Society”.
Our MOTTO tries to fulfill the SEKUCo Motto which states
